Mechanines Tower Defense is a strategy game that combines rogue-lite elements with the dynamic of tower defense, offering a unique experience with every match.
Unlike traditional titles, enemy paths are procedurally generated and infinite, ensuring no session is the same. In addition, EvoDog placement points are random, challenging players to adapt their strategies in real-time.
Mechanines Tower Defense
This game represents my first commercial release, a passion project that began during my first year of college and has now culminated in a published Steam title. Developed as a two-person team, with myself handling all programming and my talented friend Camille creating the art, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together in just 7 months. Seeing our classroom project evolve into a finished product on Steam has been an immensely rewarding journey. This enhanced my expertise in game architecture, optimization, and clean coding principles, while pushing me to craft an engaging and refined player experience using Unity.

BIG Festival 2025 Finalist
I’m honored and thrilled to announce that Mechanines Tower Defense is a finalist for Best Brazil Game and Best Student Game at BIG Festival 2025, one of Latin America’s largest gaming events. Competing against 960+ games from over 70 countries, being selected as a finalist fills me with immense pride, it’s a testament to the quality and dedication poured into this project. This recognition motivates me to keep pushing boundaries in game development and technical execution.

BGS 2024 Showcase
Showcasing Mechanines Tower Defense at BGS 2024 (Brazil Game Show) was an unforgettable experience. Watching players engage with my game, hearing their feedback, and seeing them return for multiple playthroughs was incredibly rewarding. I connected with fellow developers, met passionate gamers, and even interacted with players who became instant fans. Presenting my work at one of Brazil’s largest gaming event deepened my passion for creating games.
